We hired Esan to stucco a portion of our house where we recently put in new, smaller windows, and he did an absolutely incredible job. His workmanship is top-notch; the patch and finish are flawless, blending perfectly with the rest of the house. Esan was professional, detailed, and clean throughout the entire process. If you want high-quality work done right, I highly recommend him!

(Disclaimer: we went into this reno extremely prepared. We knew exactly what we wanted, basically didn't change our minds, and made many of our purchasing choices based on supply availability. This helped the reno go smoothly as well.)
We worked with Esan and his team to completely renovate a 1bed1bath condo: new kitchen, bathroom, floors, lighting fixtures; basically everything but the walls, we redid. The project took 8 weeks to complete, and we finished 1 week early and at just 5% over our initial estimate, including a work change order on our part. So to say that we're happy with Esan's work is an understatement.
Esan's quality of work is exceptional. One of the reasons we chose him as our contractor was because he did a lot of the work himself, and we liked that he seemed to take personal pride in what he did. Not only was his own work commendable, his recommended vendors for cabinets (Intact Kitchen & Reno) and floors (Floor Bank) also had quality products and excellent service. And where the products fell short of our wants, Esan stepped in with his own solutions (e.g., we had an unsightly gap in the cabinet face that unfortunately was part of the cabinet design; we told Esan, and he added a sheet of plywood to fill the gap).
As a person, Esan was courteous and professional. This was our first reno ever, and we took to it with the anxiety of new parents with their first child. I'm sure there were moments when we pestered him with our questions, but he was always patient, prompt, and reassuring in his communication. We had at least 2 major snowstorms during our renovation time, but Esan and his team still came to our condo every day. He had a family emergency at one point, but sent his electrician Norm instead, and called him to make sure Norm got to us at the correct time. We had a minor mishap during the reno itself, and Esan took full responsibility immediately and without issue. Every project has moments where things don't go perfectly, so it meant a lot that we could trust Esan to take care of things when they did happen.
On the topic of trust, we found Esan completely honest and trustworthy. When we were shopping for contractors, a few tried to upsell us. Esan never did that, and even corrected us on things other contractors said we definitely "needed" to get done. Therefore any time he said there was more work needed (e.g., rewiring our dishwasher, fixing old mold), we trusted that the need was real and that his price was realistic. It also helped that his prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of work he produced. Esan's team is fairly bare-bones; he doesn't have his own design team, or animators to provide detailed 3D, full-colour renderings. But if you already know what you want, then he'll make it happen without breaking the bank.
Overall, he made what is an incredibly stressful experience a lot better than it could otherwise have been. He was a pleasure to work with. We are going to recommend him wholeheartedly to everyone we know, and if we have any other projects in the future, he will be the very first person we call.

Amazing, timely and professional service provided from beginning proposal to end result! Communication was clear and respectful with Esan (CEO) -no pressure. They took the time to explain my options for the project, and ensured they received my approval before proceeding. It was a huge relief to see the new fence completed - and even a bit of schedule!

Esan and his team did multiple renovations for me including building a custom wall unit, extensive painting and some electrical work. I couldn’t be more pleased, everything came out exactly how I envisioned it. Esan was also great to work with, his communication was always timely and transparent. He was also very competitive with his rates. Lastly, Esan was very meticulous with his work. Although the work took slightly longer than anticipated, I appreciated the attention to detail. I would recommend Esan for your next job.

We've used EH Contracting Services a number of times, including building a new deck, removing a popcorn ceiling, refreshing a spare room (painting and new flooring), tiling a bathroom floor, and most recently, replacing the flooring in the bedroom. He's personable and very responsive. Twice we've been out of the country when he's doing the work, and he's kept us informed of the status. His prices are competitive and he gets the job done.

We've recently had an excellent experience with Esan and a member of his team, Terry. He did a wonderful renovation on our main bathroom and powder room. From the moment we met him we were struck by his professionalism and desire to make us very happy with the end result. Esan sent an estimate detailing everything that needed to be done. On day one, Esan and Terry started by protecting our hardwood floors before starting the work. For the entire project Esan worked very hard. Before leaving each day, the cleanup was impressive. As he worked to put a new floor in our powder room, he ran into an unexpected problem, which he resolved without incident. We're so happy with our new bathroom, a beautiful transformation. We cannot stress what a professional man Esan is, and we highly recommend his company for any project you are considering. Thanks again Esan, we will definitely call on you again for other jobs we need to do.

Esan was great to work with. He came to the house to scope the work and take measurements, and made himself available as soon as I was ready to proceed with the job. He installed a wooden fence and gate for the backyard. My parents were very happy with the final product.
He is friendly, efficient, honest, and reasonable. He stayed in communication with me throughout the process, arrived and delivered the work as promised, and cleaned up before leaving. I would work with Esan again and would recommend him to others.

I was concerned as my backyard backs onto a parking lot and didn’t want my yard exposed overnight. The price was reasonable, they were polite and most importantly my fence is now stable. I recently hired EH Contracting to do my condo kitchen renovation. They started demolition on August 28, and I was so happy to cook a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving in my new kitchen. Esan was reliable, transparent and an excellent communicator. Of course there were challenges, especially being in a condo building, but Esan was great at figuring things out, finding solutions, and also keeping calm through the whole thing. I love my new kitchen, thanks to Esan and his team. I would definitely use them again.

My bathroom problem began with the discovery of rotted sub-flooring due to a leak around the shower drain. The drain, from a previous renovation, had been improperly installed and thus, jeopardized the whole bathroom floor.
I interviewed a number of reputable contractors and after meeting and discussing the problem and solution with Esan, of EH Handyman&Contractor, I chose Esan, as I felt quite confident in his understanding of the problem and as to how it should be properly addressed. Over a period of five days, Esan and Shawn, a sub-contactor closely allied with Esan, went about their work with diligence and craftsmanship, the latter, me not fully understanding until the whole project came together. Being new to actually seeing the renovation process, there where moments when I had my doubts and it is here that I would suggest, that the client having chosen their contractor, not second guess them and to let them do 'their' work. This was a lesson that I sorely needed to learn and thankfully, both Esan and Shawn were professional, polite and understanding in how they worked with me and in general, the project as a whole.
The finished bathroom was far beyond my expectations and it is for this, and what I have written above, that I most heartily recommend Esan and his contracting services for your renovation needs.

The work was done professionally. They took all practical precautions to minimize damage to surrounding construction. We were satisfied with the work done, and would be happy to use Esan and his crew again in the future.

I hired EH Handyman and Contracting to build a wooden fence in my backyard. Esan responded quickly and communication with him and his team was easy and responsive. He was able to work my project into his schedule, provided me with a start date and estimated completion date.
Esan was good to work with during the project scoping, duration & cost estimation process. He and his team participated during the initial design process and were helpful making decisions when complications came up or when adjustments were requested.
The fence I needed was relatively basic in design; however, there were some complex technical aspects to the project like dealing with two different retaining walls and plants crossing property lines that the team handled well.
I am definitely satisfied with the work done by EH Contracting and would be happy to recommend them. Esan has now built my fence and those of several of my neighbours and it is understandable why.

I was very impressed with Esan and Shawn's work on getting our bathroom fixed. He didn't upsell anything and was completely ok with what we asked for. I did do my homework before hiring him to make sure there wasn't anything extra he wanted to add, so he was very honest with the work.
I had 3 other contractors come out and tried to upsell me with items that weren't needed. This is why I decided to go with Esan and his team.
I was a little skeptical on paying a 50% deposit, but he definitely came through with the work!
The only thing I wasn't too pleased about was that he had a family emergency, which happens and I completely understand, but he didn't tell me this right away and I was left in the dark about when they were going to show up again to finish up the work. I would have been ok with the fact that he told me this as soon as possible. He did show up a few days later and finished the work in the time he stated, so I was pleased with that part.
I would definitely hire Esan and his team again for anything that we need!

Esan was quick to respond to my project inquiry on here. We discussed on a call what needed to be done in my basement and he made an appointment to see the house in-person to give an accurate quote. Esan was very professional and answered all of my questions, he sent an electronic quote by email a few days after the house visit and I decided to use him as a contractor because he was able to fit in my timelines. I am happy with the work and he cleaned up the work area before he left my house. I will definitely recommended Esan to anyone.

Esan and his team were great to work with. When he quoted the job a month or so in advance he said he'd be able to start the first week of August. Guess when he started? The first week of August. I honestly don't think that's ever happened with a contractor before (they're usually a bit later than they say they'll be, or a lot later). He showed up at 9am every morning, was super prompt & efficient, very communicative, detail-oriented, left the place very clean, and the price was really reasonable. Probably the best contractor I've ever worked with. I highly recommend him!

I will highly recommend the services of Esan and his team for house renovation and related services. This wonderful team built us a washroom, renovated the existing washroom, fixed a ceiling, did painting and many other related work. Be it Esan or Tavel, Norm or Anthony, each and everyone from the team are so efficient and explains the work to us so well before they begin. The one thing I would like to specially mention is how each one of them took special care to make sure any work involving noise was avoided, during times of meetings. Since, both myself and my husband are working from home, we had a hectic schedule, but Esan and his team would take our meeting schedules into consideration before they planned the day's work. Work was completed on time and each day, be it Esan, Tavel or others, they would come in with a big smile, do the work and clean up. I was so anxious about doing reno work while living in the house, but Esan and his team made the experience such a smooth one for me, my daughter and husband, that I can only think of EH Handyman & Contractor when I think reno work. Thank you Esan, Tavel, Norm, Anthony and the entire team for the wonderful service.

Esan and his team recently renovated the bathroom of my rental unit and did a fantastic job. The job consisted of complete demo and removal of the old fixtures, installation of new tile, plumbing, tub, toilet and vanity. I am super impressed with how great it turned out. My only regret is that I won’t be able to use it everyday! Highly recommend to anyone!

He was very neat and tidy as we came home from work every day and things were in order and not messy. His work and detail were top notch. He took the time to do things right and our bathroom looks great.

Esan was always very easy to reach and friendly to deal with. He worked very hard on all the projects we had him do in our home and did an excellent job. The stair railing was a hard job and he spent lots of time over the details, making sure it met our standards. In addition, I’m a mom at home with my baby and toddler and felt very safe and comfortable with him being in our home. This is important to me and very much worth mentioning.

So thrilled with our rebuilt back deck! Esan and crew finished it much more quickly than we expected, especially considering all the work that needed to be done. Esan replaced the walkway in front of my house. The cement was crumbling and he ripped it up, and pour new cement on a grade sloping away. He was efficient, effective and did an excellent job. He was even conscious of the impact some of the jackhammering would be on the neighbours and kept his noise brief and at reasonable hours. I was very happy with his work!
