Good to know

  • Building season is April to November. Book early in the year for a spring start.
  • Decks over a certain height and some fences need a permit. We'll tell you at the estimate.

Questions we get

Cedar or composite?

Cedar looks better and costs less up front; composite costs more and needs no staining. We'll price both.

Do you handle the permit?

We tell you what's needed and prepare what the city asks for. The permit is in your name.

Can you match my neighbour's fence?

Usually, yes. Bring a photo to the estimate.

About our decks and fences

A deck is a small building. It needs proper footings, the right fasteners and drainage that works. We build decks, stairs, privacy screens and fences that stay square and stay put, and we clear the old one out on the way.

    A site visit, usually a weekday evening. He measures, walks you through options, and you get a written quote. The number on it is the price.

  3. Finished kitchen renovation in Scarborough by EH Contracting

    Job done

    Deposit locks your start date. Esan is on site every day, the house is left clean, and you sign off at the final walkthrough.
